The JT Miller Group was formed in 2009 to provide the consulting services of John T. Miller to executive management teams and boards of directors in the independent electric power generation and renewable and biofuels businesses. Miller provides services based on his experience developed during his career as an executive officer and senior manager for Pacific Ethanol, Inc. (COO), Calpine Corporation (SVP, Human Resources), Thermo Ecotek (division President), Pacific Generation (subsidiary Pres & CEO) and Cummins NW Power Systems (General Manager).
Miller has guest lectured at Oregon State University's Leadership Academy in the School of Engineering and at Boston University's Institute of Sustainable Energy in the School of Business.
Miller holds a BS Mechanical Engineering, Oregon State University, and an MBA, University of Portland and completed Harvard University's Managing Global Opportunities Executive Education Program.
